This is to thank you and your staff for the installation of our new “Stannah” stairlift, carried out swiftly (in one day) and with a minimum of disruption.
My wife and I are very pleased with it’s smooth, quiet movement; and with the safety features for stopping in the event that a foot or a handbag should lodge between the stair and the chair.
Even though we do not anticipate using the stairlift every time we use the stairs (we chose to have it put in before we needed it because we live upstairs, and would be greatly disadvantaged should either one of us be unable to climb), we do find it useful now for bringing the heavy articles, laundry and shopping up from below, and it gives us the feeling of security that we can now grow older without having to worry about climbing stairs several times a day, or finding a suitable replacement home should either one of us be unable to use the stairs."
